calla lily
I used to beg my mom to plant these in her garden, but when it came time for them to be dug out, I always forgot and they never overwintered.. I swear I will take better care this time..................really.

I have planted these for the first time. I see that I will have to overwinter. The whole plant or just bulb??
Sorry for my tardiness, yes you have to dig up the tubers in fall after the first frost, then wrap them in newspaper and put them in a dry place. In late march early april (as soon as you can dig the hole) you can put the tubers back in the ground. They are damn expensive to buy and if you can over winter them they are much more productive in following years than the first planting.
