On a Sadder note..
Anyone know what this could be on my clematis? I think one is a bit of frost damage, but the black I am not so sure...

You could post the pics on the gardenweb clematis forum to know for sure.... If it's the common black spot, I believe the usual advice is to pick off the affected leaves asap before it spreads, but it looks like a few different conditions in the photos you posted....

Thankfully it is not throughout the vine, but I do fear it is blackspot.. Arrggh!! another rain issue it seems. I have removed all offender leaves and sprayed with a weak soap solution.. Thank you ladies for your input.
