It's looking good. I wish our builder planted maple. We have some kind of ash tree (I think) all up and down the street. They are covered in horrible flowers now with millions of tiny petals and the scent is overwhelming. (I know people usually like that, but I am one who doesn't).
Anyway, sorry to rant. Your tree is beautiful. I checked out your mom's blog, too.

This is the maple tree that the builder has planted.. It seems to be thriving, even if its buried in 4 feet of builder dropped mulch.
